The Wrexham team faced Rhos in the first game. Although the game ended with a 10 tries to 1 victory to Wrexham the Rhos team played well and were unfortunate not to capitalise on some great running. The tackling was good from both sides and the scrum went really well.
In the second game Wrexham took on a very strong Rhyl side. Rhyl took an early lead with a couple of tries through the Wrexham defence. wrexham dug in and after a hard fought game managed to get back onto level pegging by the final whistle. As with last year, Rhyl are likely to be one of the strongest opposition for Wrexham.
On the whole the side played very well. We saw some very strong running from Luke, Dylan, Jack and braking the defensive line several times. We also saw some great tackling from the team with the two Olivers (Stead and Whitby) looking good. Adam,
The third game game saw Rhos take on Rhyl. Rhos built on their early performance against Wrexham to show they have some good players with both defence and attack looking strong. Rhyl were clearly a well drilled side with good technique.
