Wrexham U9 take on Denbigh at home

The first half of the opening encounter saw Wrexham dominate and build a half time lead of 3 tries to nil. Denbigh came back in the second session and after an even half the match ended with Wrexham taking the victory 6 tries to 3.

The second game saw a few missed tackles and turn-overs from both sides. Denbigh capitalized on the errors better than Wrexham overall and turned around at half time 3 tries to 2 in the lead. It was much the same in the second half where Denbigh and Wrexham matched their first half try tallies giving an end result of 6 tries to 4 to Denbigh.

While a number of mistakes crept into the game this week, we also saw some rugby. In attack, tries came through team work as well as speed and strong running. Defensively, a number of players put in great tackles.
