Home ties against Nant Conwy and Winnington Park for Wrexham this week

The first game saw Wrexham take on Nant Conwy. Nant took an early lead with a couple of well worked tries. Some strong running by Jack Tomlinson brought the score line back to 2 -1 before Nant scored a third. Wrexham started to gather some momentum and tries by Reuben Roberts and Jack Tomlinson leveled the score at three each at half time. In the second half Wrexham tightened their defense and tackled well. Thomas Jones, Oliver Whitby, Rhys Mostyn and Thomas Painter making some great tackles. Luke Dillon controlled the game in attack which saw Sam Jones and Jack Tomlinson crossing the line for Wrexham to end the game 5 - 3 winners

The visitors played each other in the second game. Winnington Park took the lead with some great running rugby and scored 3 great tries. Nant pulled two tries back by half time to end the half with a 3 -2 deficit. The second half saw Nant step up a gear and score five unanswered tries to end the match 7 - 3 winners.

The final game between Winnington and Wrexham was a close encounter. The game started with a strong run by Sam Wright that saw him break through the Winnington Park defense and run half the length of the pitch to score. Good defense then dominated the game with some good tackles from Adam Hanley, Louis Randall and Owain Thomas. The half ended with the score still 1 - 0 to Wrexham. Winnington broke the deadlock and ran in a good try early in the second half . Dylan Jones ran well and had been organising some good moves which started to pay off in the second half. A string of last gasp tackles save Winnington until Reuben Roberts ran in the Wrexham winner. The game ended soon after with a 2 - 1 victory to Wrexham
