The U9 have a hard fought game against their first English opposition of the season

Whitchurch visited Wrexham this week and proved to be a worth opposition as they switched from the RFU rules to play the WRU U9 rules for the first time this season. The first game ended in a 3 - 3 draw in a very evenly matched game. Wrexham just managed to edge the second game 4 - 3 but this could have gone either way.

Whitchurch ran well and off-loaded excellently in the tackle area. This is something that the Wrexham side can learn from as this would improve the dynamics of the game. In general the tackling was good with a few players starting to excel in this area.
