At our recent Board Meeting we were sad to hear that after 11 years of service, Jim and Heulwen have decided to call “Time” on their time behind the rugby club bar. They have been invaluable members of the club with their willingness, diligence, helpfulness, loyalty and humour in welcoming and serving members and visitors to the club. We thank them wholeheartedly for their support and hope they won’t be strangers and join us on the right side of the bar in times to come. Not many people get to retire twice but we hope they both enjoy a long and happy retirement.

This of course does leave us with the difficult task of replacing the irreplaceable!
We are now looking for a new Bar Manager/ Steward/ Licensee to run the club bar from August 2021.

We are looking for an individual/couple to manage our bar and clubhouse who is professional, reliable, organised, and looking for a challenge!

The core role is to run the bar for members and visitors on Saturday afternoons and evenings and Sunday lunchtimes during the rugby season with additional hours for functions. We would though welcome ideas from interested parties as to how they could meet our needs and possibly expand the club’s offering and could be an exciting new career opportunity.
